 DVI + HDCP Repeater
Product Description:
The DVI-7160 is a high-performance HDCP compliant DVI repeater that digitally regenerates the incoming signal with an extremely high degree of fidelity such that the output signal can transverse much longer cable distances than normally possible. The unit is compatible with the full spectrum of single-link DVI signals with pixel rates up to 165 MHz (1.65 GBit/sec.), which enable complete transparency with DVI signals having HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and PC resolutions up to 1920x1200 / 60Hz.
When used with DVIGear’s SHR™ cables, up to four repeaters can be cascaded to extend cable lengths up to 75 meters (~ 250 ft.). A single unit can be used to extend DVI cables up to 30 meters (~ 100 ft.). This repeater includes a DDC (EDID) pass-through function to ensure proper recognition of the connected downstream display.
Note: To ensure optimum performance, you should use DVIGear’s Super High Resolution™ cables with this product.
