DVIGear’s MXP Series are high-performance modular digital matrix switchers that offer an unprecedented range of cross-platform routing capabilities. The core of the MXP Series is a high-speed digital routing engine that is available in multiple card frames, enabling I/O configurations from 9x9 up to 80x80. A wide range of fifty (50) I/O cards provides an exceptional degree of flexibility for system designers to mix and match cards to achieve a limitless array of cross-platform routing configurations. New I/O cards are added to the MXP Series range regularly, further expanding the product’s capabilities. The MXP Series are non-blocking crosspoint matrix switchers that allow any input to be routed to any number or combination of outputs. Complex routing maps can be stored and recalled easily with a single click. Many different signal formats are easily accommodated, including single-link DVI, dual-link DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, analog VGA, etc. Furthermore, several cable types can be connected directly to and from the router including copper cables, twisted pair (CAT-X), and optical cables with various types of connectors. Copper cable inputs with built-in equalization support direct connection of cables with lengths up to 60 meters (197 ft.). Output signals are re-clocked to ensure precise, jitter-free signal transmission. The unit’s internal signal lanes are meticulously controlled for proper differential impedance, resulting in unsurpassed signal fidelity and stability. The MXP Series offers Advanced EDID Management that provides total user control over every aspect of EDID handling. All inputs can be presented with EDID values from any connected or captured display or from an internal set of 100 EDID values, 50 of which can be user-defined and/or user-created. The MXP Series can be controlled by USB connection, RS232 / RS422 serial port, TCP/IP Ethernet connection, and by LAN using a built-in web interface.
