Popular rAVe Home Edition Newsletter Presents Award for DVIGear's New DVI and HDMI Super High Resolution Cables
Chapel Hill, NC -- October 21, 2005 -- DVIGear, a leading provider of digital connectivity solutions, announced today that it's line of DVI and HDMI Super High Resolution cables has received a Best New Video Product award from the rAVE Home Edition, a popular e-newsletter. At the recent CEDIA Expo, DVIGear demonstrated that its new Super High Resolution (SHR) cables provide full compatibility with DVI and HDMI performance specifications with cable lengths that exceed 60 meters (200 ft.). "We are very pleased to have won this award from rAVe Home Edition," said Steven Barlow, president of DVIGear. "Considering that there were thousands of products introduced by over 560 exhibitors, we feel this award is quite an honor," Barlow continued.
Super High Resolution DVI and HDMI Cables
To extend the range of its SHR cables, DVIGear developed a new active cable equalization circuit, which reduces the intrinsic insertion losses normally associated with long cables runs. Currently, DVIGear offers its SHR DVI and HDMI cables in pre-terminated lengths up to 20 meters (65.6 ft.). In January, DVIGear will begin offering its SHR DVI and HDMI cables in pre-terminated lengths up to 65 meters (213 ft.). All long length cables will include DVIGear's new active cable equalization circuit at no additional charge. Additional product information and pricing will be made available in the near future.
