The DVI-8811a adapter enables connection between DVI-I and VGA display equipment. It can be used to connect a DVI-I analog display to a graphics card with a VGA display output, or to connect a DVI-I signal cable to a display with a VGA input.
This adapter will ONLY work with an analog signal. Digital connections are not supported.
