An infrared receiver that lets a DVIGear 4100 or 4500 Series switcher sit out of sight while the remote still reaches it, up to 75 ft (22.9 m) away.
The DVI-4101 is an infrared remote receiver for DVIGear's 4100 and 4500 Series switchers. It lets the switcher sit in an equipment closet or another out-of-the-way location while the IR sensor stays in the room, within range of the handheld remote control.
The receiver is small and unobtrusive, so it can be mounted somewhere inconspicuous. It connects to the switcher's Remote (or Extender IR) input with a 3.5 mm interconnection cable, and can sit up to 75 ft (22.9 m) from the switcher itself.
Note: while the DVI-4101 is connected, the switcher's own front-panel IR receiver is disabled.
